Deepak Sethia is a Fellow of IIM Ahmedabad from Public Systems Group. His doctoral thesis title is "Savings and Investment in Indian States: Implications for Growth and Public Finances". This thesis work is primarily focused on regional accounts and fiscal federalism in India. Till date, this thesis is the only available study on understanding interstate capital flows using National Accounting approach.
His research interest includes public finance, official statistics, macroeconomics, environment management, and public policy. He also holds a Master degree in Environment Management from Forest Research Institute University, Dehradun and a B.Sc.(Honors) from Hindu College, Delhi University.
