Mr. Indrajit Thakurata has done his FPM from IIM Ahmedabad. His doctoral thesis dealt with the topic ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad: Lifecycle Portfolio Savings and Human Capital Accumulation’. He holds B.Tech. and M.Tech degrees in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Delhi.

Before joining the doctoral programme at IIM Ahmedabad, he has worked with Globallogic and Patni computers as a software programmer.

His current research interests include Life-cycle optimization models, Human capital acquisition, Portfolio choice and DSGE models.

His teaching interests include Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics.
